You will love:

Canada's Wonderland is Canada's premiere amusement park and if you have never been or haven't been in a while there is so much for families to do.  With rides for everyone, little kids will love Planet Snoopy and Dinosaurs Alive! Note that there is an additional cost for this area but it is seven acres of dinosaur fun. Here's a list of the rides for smaller children.

For the more daring the parks has Leviathan, a new roller coaster in 2012 that boasts speeds of 125 mph with an 80-degree drop. Yikes! Here's a list of all the roller coasters and thrill rides.

Don't Miss:

Don't forget your bathing suits if you like water park thrill. Canada's premiere amusement park features Splash Works, a 20-acre water park featuring The Plunge, Super Soaker, and The Lazy River.

Check out the park map!

Yummy Stuff:

There is a full range of food offered in the park, from pizza and subs to a restaurant buffet and don't forget to try a funnel cake.

There is a Starbucks located within the park near the entrance.

They do not allow outside food within the park but you can leave the park and come back in if you would prefer to bring your own food and have a picinic outside the park. They do allow baby food and formula are permitted as is plastic bottled water.

Baby bottles can be warmed up in most of the restaurants as well in the Baby Care Centres located in Kidzville and Medieval Faire.

Beer is served in specific areas in the park.

Most Outstanding Family-Friendly Feature:

For families this theme park provides a solid family-friendly experience.  One outstanding feature is their height measurement stations.

"A guest's height is an important safety factor on many rides and attractions. Children can be measured at our Height Check Stations located on either side of International Street. Color-coded wristbands are provided at these locations and correspond to the color found on the Rules and Regulations signs located at the entrance of each ride. For the safety of your child, shoes that contribute excessively to height should not be worn. We reserve the right to ask that shoes be removed to ensure that a child’s height is not being artificially enhanced or manipulated. If the Height Check Station is closed, a wristband can be obtained at the station of any ride as long as the guest meets the height requirement of that ride." (

Knowing which rides your kids can go on before walking up to the signs and being disapointed helps to have a much happier experience for the whole family.
